What it is
The Performance by Content Category chart provides a daily snapshot of online ad inventory traded in the Turn Smart Market. The chart is designed to assist buyers and sellers in understanding the relative price and performance of advertising displayed on publisher web pages, grouped by web page content category.
This chart shows the effective pricing for ad impressions (eCPM), clicks (eCPC), and actions (eCPA), based on all ads displayed in the selected content category. Performance metrics for click through rate (CTR) and conversion rate (CR) are also available. Each metric is displayed as a percent relative to the overall market average. For example, a CTR of 110% indicates the selected category's CTR is 10% higher than the average CTR across all content categories in the Turn Smart Market.
How to use it
A default chart with live market data is always displayed on the Turn homepage. To browse the market data and customize your own chart:
1. Click Create New Chart to open the chart control panel
2. Select a category and any combination of pricing and performance metrics
The chart will update automatically.
All data is anonymous and aggregated across buyers and sellers in the Turn Smart Market.
